Do I need to pay a subscription fee to use the app? What costs does MEO MATE charge for using the app?
The MEO MATE app is free of charge. We do however offer paid services to our community members to help increase visibility within the app, but this is always optional and clearly communicated upfront. Some businesses in our app may charge a fee for their offerings, such as online trainings offered on a subscription basis.
Are there any hidden fees when I book services like dog sitting or grooming?
There are no hidden fees. MEO MATE does not charge anything to the business nor the consumer for placing and/or ordering services on our app.
Does MEO MATE charge a commission on bookings or services?
MEO MATE does not charge a commission on bookings or services. If you would like to highlight your services, we offer to increase your visibility through a one-time in-app payment. This is always optional and clearly communicated upfront.
Are there any hidden fees when I buy products in the marketplace?
There are no hidden fees. MEO MATE does not charge anything to the business nor the consumer for placing and/or ordering products on our app. We only charge a transaction fee of EUR 0,50 per transaction – no matter the order value. These transaction costs are charged to the seller.

What’s the cost for accessing premium features or services?
MEO MATE currently is not offering any premium features or services. If you have suggestions we love to hear them. You can share them with us through “suggestions” accessible through the homepage in the app.
Is MEO MATE a non-profit?
MEO MATE is not a non-profit. We are a mission driven company with a strong social focus. While we operate as a for-profit business, our goal is to create meaningful impact for dogs and their humans—from promoting community and wellbeing to supporting ethical businesses. We also donate a portion of our proceeds to dog-related causes to give back where it matters.
How do I track my earnings from services and product sales?
MEO MATE automatically tracks everything you sell, gift, purchase, and contribute through the app. You can view your full history under “Transactions” in your profile menu, including:
Sales & Earnings – What you earned from selling products or offering services.
Bookings & Purchases – What you booked or bought via the app.
Gifted & Received – Items given or received through the circular marketplace.
