Our philosophy
MEO MATE was designed to bridge humans and dogs, mind and body, care and community. It’s not just a tool. It’s a living ecosystem, built with intention: personal at heart, but able to grow without losing its integrity.
If you’re someone who cares deeply, who values connection, and who believes there is so much more to learn from, and experience with our dogs. We built this for you. A space where wellness, knowledge, love for your dog, and real connection live side by side.

The development
We started building MEO MATE in October 2023. The first months were spent on conversations with dog owners, professionals, friends, and people who felt the same gaps we did. Those conversations shaped the foundation: what actually helps, what feels intrusive, and what doesn’t belong in a platform built around care and trust.
From there, we focused on the infrastructure. Not just what the app should do, but how it should feel. Early versions were functional, but too generic. Over time, we made deliberate changes to the software to make it more personal, more local, and more reflective of our values.
We adjusted flows to encourage real interaction and refined logic to prioritise compatibility. Features were simplified, removed, and rebuilt where needed. Always with one question in mind: does this support meaningful connection?
MEO MATE today is the result of continuous testing, listening, and recalibrating. Built step by step, with care for both the people and the dogs who use it and the connections it enables.
Looking ahead
Rather than chasing scale for its own sake, 2026 is about understanding what works.
We focus on meaningful matches, local use cases, and learning how connection, care and shared responsibility can take shape at community level.
This year is about translating intention into practice. Strengthening the product where it matters most and laying the groundwork for careful responsible growth.
